Nelsons had been using IRESS Adviser Office (AO) but following a strategic review of the options in the market that could be suitable, we decided to move to Intelliflo. We felt that iO would be a good fit for Nelsons because it is a modern system that has the ability to support the business particularly in relation to processes and workflows. Electronic valuations are also a particularly strong feature, which we felt could bring about efficiencies to our operations and, therefore, for our clients.

Web-based systems like iO gives our advisers the freedom to use the system from their tablets, laptops or mobile phones, allowing us to deliver a high standard of service to our clients.

The implementation of iO into Nelsons went smoothly. We hit our target go-live date and the data migration was very efficient, especially as we had cleansed the data prior to the move.

I had a similar role in my previous company and had been an iO user for six years, so I knew the software well. The search for a new system was a priority when I joined Nelsons driven by growth - over the last two years the Investment Management team has expanded from four people to 10 and we needed a system to help support this and improve efficiencies in certain areas.
