Emily Chapman, Head of Commercial Operations, explains the benefits of joining the Intelliflo team.
How has your career developed since you’ve been at Intelliflo?
I joined Intelliflo in January 2005 as an Account Manager (the only one at the time). During this time I worked in the support team and as well as a trainer – there were only eight of us at this time so it was very much a case of ‘all hands to the pump’. As the business grew, I was heavily involved in recruitment to expand the Implementation, Support, Training and Account Management teams. I defined the operational processes for these teams, some of which still remain today.
Your journey at Intelliflo will be a blended learning experience including innovative product training, classroom sessions, online tutorials, webinars, group sessions and 1-2-1 development. You will be challenged with exciting projects using world class technology and you will have a mentor to guide you throughout your time at Intelliflo.

"I’m specifically interested in IT and with a background in Applied Computing, I did a Masters in Information Systems in which I took modules such as Business Process Modelling, Project Management or Systems Analysis and Design. One of the most important things I learnt is the ability to develop software and to carry out IT projects, and also the understanding on how processes are redefined and improved within organisations.
I find this Intelliflo Graduate Programme to be an extraordinary opportunity to build up skills and further extend knowledge on a variety of business fields. For instance, we have received specific trainings on core management, and communication and presentation skills, which get tested later on in real business scenarios such as internal projects with a major impact on the company. In addition, we have been given the chance to expand our knowledge on the fields that we feel more interested about through a varied range of courses.
In regards to my experience so far in this graduate programme, one of the things that I like the most is that my colleagues and mentors are extremely helpful and always willing to guide us. In addition, what I find truly fantastic about this graduate programme is that we have been given the chance to thrive, learn and work with passionate people that believe in our potential to become real professionals.
“I first encountered Intelliflo at a booth at my university's careers event. I worked for the careers department as part of their talent academy scheme where I dealt with analytics and logistics. One of my favourite pastimes is photography, so when my colleagues asked me to be the photographer for the event, I was happy to oblige!
About an hour into the event, I spoke to one of the guys at the Intelliflo stand. It was a genuinely interesting conversation; I felt like Intelliflo was a where I would be motivated to develop and grow; a place I would be encouraged to constantly innovate and make a change. Since joining in September, I've found that to be true.
On day one we were introduced to the company; the people; and the idea behind Intelliflo and its products. We were being welcomed to the family. It was, and still is, awesome. As time progressed I was invited to numerous training sessions, team meetings, and discussions with some of the COs of the company. Since joining the company, I really do feel at home.
Currently, I am working as part of the support team; working closely with their flagship product. Doing so has provided me with a more in-depth understanding of the product the end user uses, from an end user perspective. In addition, I spend the latter half of my day focusing on project work, and dealing with system related issues raised by the user. I do not regret applying for the role, and am very excited for the road to come.”
"I’m Marija and this year I have finished my MBA studies at the University of Sheffield. I’ve been working in the banking sector, but needed change, needed a new place where I can develop new skills. I was looking for a place where I can be challenged, a place where my potential can be developed, a place where my work will be my life.
This year I started as part of the Graduate programme in Intelliflo. This is a place where talent is recognised, place where skills and potential are developed. An organisation where employees are supportive, where you feel as part of a family."
