Nick Eatock
Executive chairman


Nick founded Intelliflo in 2004, pioneering the use of web-based technology to support the end-to-end needs of financial advice businesses.

Having worked for 29 years in IT and 18 years in Financial Services, Nick brings an extremely comprehensive blend of experience and knowledge to Intelliflo which has ensured that the business has remained at the forefront of technological and business innovation in the sector.

Hamish Purdey
Chief executive officer


Hamish joined us as Chief Executive Officer in November 2014 and has a strong background in the global financial services software sector. Having most recently served at FfastFill plc, where he was CEO from 2009 through to 2013, over which period the company grew from market capitalisation of £28m to £110m.

Akeel Ahmed
Chief technical officer


Akeel cofounded Intelliflo, along with Nick Eatock, in 2004 after completing the successful sale of a touch-screen business. 

Entrepreneurial and technically savvy, Akeel works on new propositions and is heavily involved in the technology platform.  Outside work most of his time is spent with his wife and children. 

Mike Clifford
Chief commercial officer


Mike joined us in April 2010 with over 20 years’ experience of the financial services sector, gained as both provider and client.

He has worked with many of the leading global financial services organisations such as Distribution Technology and the National Bank of Australia.

Rob Walton
Chief operating officer


Rob joined us as Chief Operating Officer in May 2015. Rob was most recently Head of Agency Trading Service Operations at electronic trading firm ION Trading. Prior to his time at ION Trading, Rob worked alongside our Chief Executive Officer, Hamish Purdey at software firm FFastFill.

Tim Wood
Chief financial officer


Tim joined us in September 2013 and has over 15 years in the software and technology sectors. Tim is responsible for the commercial management of the company and joined the senior management team in 2013.

Tim has a history of facilitating and driving strategic growth, having previously worked for ClickSoftware, Higher Education Online and Verint Software. In his spare time Tim enjoys running and playing golf.

Wenda Field
Sales director


Wenda joined us in 2007, initially managing both the sales and marketing teams across the business. As sales director, Wenda now oversees all aspects of strategic sales planning.

She has worked closely with our CEO and Executive Chairman to help firms through the transition to our solution. Previously, Wenda worked in the insurance sector for over 10 years in various senior roles.

Emily Chapman
Head of customer success


Emily joined us in January 2005 and has over 15 years’ experience in the Financial Services sector. Starting as an account manager, Emily soon progressed to the role of Client Operations Manager where she ran and evolved the account management, implementation, support and training teams and later moved on to the role of Head of Commercial Operations.

In her current role of Head of Customer Success, Emily oversees the customer success, data migration, onboarding and training functions and is an integral part of the senior management team.

Neil Andrews
Head of account management


Neil joined us in 2010 and has over 25 years experience in the financial services sector, the latter 16 years in FS technology solutions.

Previously Neil held a number of senior roles within leading technology and financial services organisations including Misys, Synaptic Systems, the CII and Sesame.

Neil started his career in financial services as a financial adviser and over a 12 year period had various roles including running a large IFA office as well as smaller regional satellite operations.

Kieran McGee
Provider liaison manager


Kieran joined us in 2006 and has over 18 years’ experience in the financial services and IT sectors.

Starting as a business development manager, Kieran is now responsible for all provider integrations with Intelligent Office and joined the senior management team in February 2014.

Kieran has worked with some of the UK’s leading financial software companies encompassing all aspects of software delivery including training, business analysis and product management. 

David Child
Non-executive director


David joined the Intelliflo board as a non-executive director in January 2014.

He has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. He started his career at The Bank of England before moving to DBS Management Plc where he had board responsibility for compliance and technology.

Matthew Brockman
Director at HgCapital


Matthew joined the Intelliflo board in 2013 and is a Director of HgCapital, the majority shareholder of Intelliflo Ltd.

Matthew represents the interests of HgCapital on the Intelliflo board. Matthew is a member of the Telecommunications, Media & Technology (TMT) team at HgCapital and leads the Mercury Fund.

He is a member of HgCapital’s Investment and Portfolio Review Committees and also sits on the boards of Achilles and Valueworks.

Sebastien Briens
Director at HgCapital


Sebastien joined the Intelliflo board in 2013 and is a Director of HgCapital, the majority shareholder of Intelliflo Ltd.

Sebastien represents the interests of HgCapital on the Intelliflo board. He joined HgCapital in 2011, from Quadrangle Capital Partners, where he focused on investments in the communications, media and online sectors. Previously, he worked for Bain & Company and France Telecom.

Sebastien holds a Masters in Business Administration with Distinction from Harvard Business School.

Paul Fitzsimons
Non-executive chairman

Paul Fitzsimons

Paul joined in 2013 and has over 22 years’ experience in the private equity sector. Paul acts as an adviser to the Intelliflo board. Since joining Apax Partners in 1992, Paul has spent his career as both an investor in and a board member of private equity companies.

He retired from Apax Partners in 2010 as a member of the Investment Committee and now advises Hg Capital, the majority shareholder in Intelliflo Ltd, as well as Jacana Partners – a sub Sharan Africa Growth Capital Fund. 

Karen Slatford
Non-executive director

Karen Slatford

Karen joined the Intelliflo board as a non-executive director in 2014 and has over 30 years of experience in the technology sector. Karen acts as an adviser to the Intelliflo board, bringing a range of sector and functional experience. Karen began her career at ICL before spending 20 years at Hewlett Packard.

In 2000 she became vice president and general manager worldwide sales and marketing for the Business Customer Organisation, responsible for sales of all Hewlett Packard’s products.
