Job Purpose

We are seeking a Front-End Developer to act as a bridge between high-level UX/UI design and robust software architecture. Rather than just translating mocks into code, you will be a key steward of our Design System, ensuring that our user interfaces are as performant and scalable as they are visually polished. You will collaborate closely with the UX team to maintain a unified visual language while overseeing the front-end quality and code structure across multiple projects.

    Core Architectural & Design Responsibilities

    • Design System Evolution: Support the development, maintenance, and distribution of our internal Design System, ensuring it remains the “single source of truth” for UI components.
    • Architectural Oversight: Take ownership of front-end quality by reviewing PRs and ensuring all code aligns with established structures and design patterns.
    • Systemic UI Implementation: Implement pixel-perfect designs with a focus on creating reusable code and libraries that improve development speed across the entire department.
    • Technical Feasibility & Design Logic: Exercise independent judgment during design phases to ensure UI/UX concepts are technically viable and optimized for scalability.
    • Performance Engineering: Go beyond functionality to optimize applications for maximum speed, ensuring a seamless, high-performance experience across all devices.
    • Full-Stack Integration: Partner with back-end developers to integrate server-side logic (C#, ASP.NET) with a sophisticated, modern front-end layer

    Specialized Skills & Experience

    • UI/UX Sophistication: A deep understanding of modern UI development technologies and responsive, mobile-first design principles.
    • Modern CSS Mastery: Advanced knowledge of CSS preprocessors (SASS) and structured CSS methodologies like BEM, SMACSS, or OOCSS to maintain a clean, scalable codebase.
    • Framework Expertise: Strong proficiency in JavaScript and experience with modern frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js) to build complex, state-driven interfaces.
    • Agile Architecture: Familiarity with SCRUM and Continuous Delivery, with the ability to provide technical oversight in a fast-paced environment.
    • System Knowledge: Understanding of C#, MVC, and Razor to effectively bridge the gap between the presentation layer and the back-end.
